Tuberculosis remains one of the world’s deadliest infectious diseases and a concerted effort is required to eliminate it. To commemorate this year’s World TB Day, DGI Consult joined other stakeholders in the supported States of Bauchi, Benue, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Lagos, Nasarawa, Oyo, Ogun, Plateau and Taraba to remind the government of the importance of sustainable investment in eradicating TB in Nigeria.

The theme of the World Tuberculosis Day 2022 – ‘Invest to End TB. Save Lives’ conveys the urgent need to increase investment towards ramping up the fight against TB and achieving the goal of ending TB by the year 2030.

With the right investment, lives can be saved and we can end TB in Nigeria by 2030.
