As part of DGI’s support to the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency (NASHIA) towards mobilizing resources to expand health insurance coverage to the teeming population of Nasarawa State, especially the informal sector, DGI supported the Agency to organize a 2-day workshop with key stakeholders to articulate its resource mobilization strategy. The resource mobilization strategy was developed vis-à-vis the resource mobilization objectives articulated in the 5-year strategic plan of NASHIA which was developed through the support of DGI Consult, with the overall goal of expanding health insurance coverage to 20% of Nasarawa State’s population by 2027.

Furthermore, a capacity building session was organized for the staff of NASHIA to equip them with knowledge on effective resource mobilization through the resource mobilization objectives in the 5-year strategic plan of the Agency to achieve its coverage target by 2027.
