One year after supporting the Yobe State Contributory Health Management Agency (YSCHMA) to develop its Strategic Plan and SOPs towards the commencement of the state’s Contributory Health Scheme, the Agency has engaged DGI Consult to conduct a client’s satisfaction survey for the scheme. As part of the evaluation of the contributory health scheme, the survey seeks to assess enrollees’ experiences in accessing health care services, and determine their level of satisfaction with health services provided.
The survey also seeks to assess health care providers’ perception of the scheme’s operation. It involved administering a structured questionnaire to randomly selected enrollees on the telephone and at the health facilities. A structured questionnaire was also administered to accredited healthcare providers participating in the Contributory Health Scheme in 12 health facilities across the three Senatorial Districts in the state. A total of 454 clients and 24 providers have been interviewed across the 17 Local Government Areas of Yobe State.
