DGI Consult is pleased to announce that the above-captioned peer-reviewed research paper written by our team has been published by the Human Resources for Health journal. The paper describes a health workforce optimization framework and its application in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), with Nigeria serving as a case study. In this paper, we define health workforce optimization as achieving the best HRH outcomes for a given fiscal context, which is especially crucial for resource-constrained settings that lack the fiscal capacity to attract and retain the needed workforce.
