Sekinat Sanusi is the Senior Programme Officer at DGI Consult. She has over three years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing health systems strengthening interventions towards improving public health. She has technical expertise in the areas of governance, institutional capacity building, health systems diagnostics, and multi-sectoral stakeholders’ engagement.

Sekinat has led and supported the implementation of donor-funded projects and contracts such as Christian Aid, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the United States Agency for International Development, the Global Health Advocacy Incubator, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, etc. She holds a MSc. And BSc. (Distinction) in Microbiology from the University of Lagos.

She is a Universal Health Coverage (UHC) enthusiast and her career goal is to leverage her technical and analytical skills to influence health policies, contribute to health sector reforms, and advance health literacy at the grassroots toward achieving health for all
