Effective coordination and mobilization of available resources for TB in Lagos state requires strategic coordination of TB partners in the state to achieve the best possible results from TB investments. DGI Consult through the TB LON3 project facilitated a workshop to support the Lagos State TB and Leprosy Control Program to identify key strategies for effective coordination of TB financing in the State. It is planned to be a recurring workshop that will regularly bring partners financing TB together to enhance program synergy through collective planning and tracking of results. The high point of the workshop is the introduction of the TB coordination tools, which will be used for the coordination of TB investments from all partners in the State. The tool will enable effective planning, resource mapping, tracking of resources, and monitoring for mutual accountability and transparency. It will also address inefficiencies in TB spending while promoting the alignment of TB investments to achieve maximum results.
