We conducted a country-specific political economy analysis (PEA) which aimed at situating fiscal justice and SRHR within an understanding of the prevailing political and economic processes. It include a robust gender analysis to highlight the ways in which women and girls are included and excluded, and the ways in which different forms of male privilege operate in order to shed light on how political economy processes actually work in practice. We also conducted a detailed country level desk-based review in order to analyse the quality, utilization and types of SRHR services provided from major funding streams to poor, vulnerable and marginalised women and girls. Information for the political economy analysis was gathered through key informant interviews and desk reviews.
