Background
Development Governance Consult (DGI Consult) is a purpose-driven governance, research, and institutional capacity-strengthening consulting firm. Strong belief in the centrality of robust governance systems, innovations and leadership to solving development challenges across sectors forms the core of our company’s philosophy. Guided by this philosophy and driven by evidence for decision-making, DGI Consult delivers state-of-the-art technical assistance and program management through seasoned staff and a network of local and international consultants.
DGI Consult currently implements donor-funded projects in the area of health financing, especially health financing analytics, including fiscal space analysis, public financial management assessment, and political economy analysis. DGI Consult also supports State Social Health Insurance Schemes in about five states to strengthen the institutional and operational frameworks that prepare them for effective health insurance operations. The firm also provides technical support towards effective domestic resource mobilization for vertical disease programs, including integration of such programs into the benefits package of the health insurance schemes.
Due to program expansion, DGI Consult seeks media and communication interns who will work under the tutelage of senior staff and consultants. The internship program will, in part, create a pool of potential technical specialists who could be engaged to provide technical assistance in the near future.
