Kafayat Alawode is a development practitioner with work experience in the public health and banking sectors. She has many years of experience in project management, research, business development, knowledge management, and human resources management. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
She started her career as a research assistant in the Department of Geology at OAU, after which she worked as a relationship officer at Access Bank PLC. She also worked as a volunteer on the Independent Monitoring and Evaluation Project funded by DFID and as a Senior Business Development and Human Resources Officer at Hanovia Limited. She is currently the Program Coordinator at DGI Consult Limited and the Knowledge Management and M&E Advisor on the GHAI-funded Prevent Epidemics project being implemented by LISDEL.
